Applying to the Thermofluids Option
Applications to the option take place towards the end of second year, while students are in the Mech 2 program. Your application package must include the following documents:
- The application form
- A cover letter (addressed to the Option Coordinator) explaining why you would like to join the option and any skills or experience you may be bringing with you
- A copy of your current resume, and
- An unofficial print out of your grades from the Student Service Centre.
Please note that the Thermofluids Option requires students to take courses according to the
regular co-op schedule, regardless of if they are in co-op or not, as most courses are offered only
once per year. This means that completing the Option will take a minimum of three years (after
Mech 2).
The application deadline is March 31st of each year at 4:00 pm . If the deadline falls on a weekend, applications are due by the end of the day Friday. Applications should be submitted to:
