Collaborative Research

Industry and other learning institutions can help to support Mechanical Engineering by joining or proposing research initiatives in the Department and UBC. Another way for industry to aid in advancing the field of Mechanical Engineering and the Department is to support some of the research done by our faculty members.

Student Jobs

Employers can support Mech by hiring our highly skilled and teamwork-oriented students through a variety of options. The Co-op program matches top students to employers, and has an excellent reputation for helping students to integrate work and study, and aiding companies in securing the employee skills they need. You can also participate in our Mech 45X program, in which Mech students complete a design contract for a solution to a technical problem.
